Every student who registers for a programme at OU is invited to an induction session where s/he is taught how to study through the Open Distance Learning mode. The students receive all the learning materials. Those enrolled for a degree programme may be eligible for a tablet with all the learning materials. Every student receives a factsheet with the contact details of the key persons at OU including the Programme Manager. All the students have their own login details to access the e-library and e-learning platform. Through the e-learning platform, the University comes to the doorsteps of the students. Local students can attend face-to-face tutorial sessions in our study centres. Students from overseas benefit from the same learning experience as local ones through the use of our virtual classrooms. All the learners have access to several hundred thousand titles in the e-library from any location.
